In celebration of International Women's Day

In celebration of International Women's Day a Marathon and felicitation program was organised by the District Hub for Empowerment of Women,with the support of Women and Child Development Department and East ICDS project,Golaghat in collaboration with National Human Rights and Crime control bureau Golaghat in the presence of DSWO,CDPO East Golaghat, Supervisors of East Golaghat ICDS project, POSHAN officials, AWWs and AWHs ,adolescent girls,as well as the officials and members of NHRCCB and other participants.Three women,Mrs. Minakhi Konwar Bora (selected to compete in the javelin throw and discus throw events at the 2023 Asia Pacific Masters Games to be held in South Korea), Miss Manshi Paul (a national and international kick boxer), and Mrs. Bhugeswari Changmai (who encourages the next generation to produce organic tea) were honoured in the program.
